Memorial Day is a day for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who died in the line of duty while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Family, friends, and volunteers place American flags and flowers on the graves of those military personnel who gave their lives in service to their country. Memorial Day will be observed this year on Monday, May 26th, 2025.
We need volunteers to place American flags and cut, prepare, and place flowers for our cemetery and to clean up after. There are over 6,000 headstones in the Yountville Cemetery, and many hands make for light work. Please see the schedule of volunteer opportunities below. Call 707-944-4931 or reply to this email VolunteerMail@volgistics.com if you would like to volunteer.
