Dear friends, veterans, and community leaders,
For those of you that I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet, I am the new Commanding Officer of the US Coast Guard Training Center Petaluma, and I would like to welcome you to the training center for a short ceremony to honor those lost on September 11th. On the morning of September 11th at 0800, we will gather at the command building to observe colors and provide a few remarks in remembrance of that fateful day.
If you are an early riser, you are welcome to arrive early for a very affordable breakfast in the galley prior to the remembrance. Information on our galley can be found at Training Center Petaluma Galley. Breakfast is served until 0715 if you are interested but you are able to sit and enjoy your breakfast and coffee after the line closes.
