On October 11th the Post collected $2,000 and five truckloads of food for the Two Rock Coast Guard Base Food Pantry in response to the government shutdown. We worked with the post and the Chief Petty Officer Association at the Base. The food was deposited at the Petaluma Veterans Memorial Building. These pictures are of Post members and Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers, and the artist is a family member. Donations are still being accepted and can be sent to the post address with checks made out to American Legion Post 28.
